Method
Business consulting for change management, written for the people who run the shift
Strategy decks age in a week. The floor remembers who was consulted. This page is the sequence we use when an Australian organisation already has a destination and still cannot move.
Four artefacts, in order
We do not start with communications. We start with who actually routes work. Only then do we write sentences a sponsor can speak, a calendar operations will recognise, and a protocol for pausing without humiliation.
- Field map Informal influence across sites, including people with no title that matches their power.
- Sponsor script One breath, no jargon, tested on someone who was not in the steering group.
- Constraint calendar Shutdowns, awards, peaks, and school holidays treated as design inputs.
- Pause protocol Named owners who may stop work, and a way to explain the stop to the floor.
What this method will not do
It will not invent a strategy the executive still refuses to choose. It will not replace industrial relations counsel. It will not make a poorly designed process popular by adding posters.
Those boundaries are written into every Field Brief and into week 1 of The Change Field Method.
